Mission Statement

Veterans Tribute Career & Technical Academy will create a rigorous learning environment engaging students through collaborative problem-solving while promoting respect and responsibility in honor of those who have served our nation and community.

Veterans Tribute Career & Technical Academy’s focus is to prepare students for careers in public service.  Our school carries a name, befitting the ultimate public servants. Since the founding of our nation, men and women have risked harm's way, sacrificing their lives and their fortunes, fighting for the very freedom enjoyed today by every United States citizen. These same men and women have left behind family and friends, to help make foreign societies democratic in nature, providing basic needs, if not greater opportunity, for their citizens. Given the broad spectrum of their immense dedication, commitment and inspiration, it is only appropriate to pay tribute to our veterans; past, present, and future.

Veterans Tribute CTA consists of superior teachers and caring professionals that strive to assist students in any way to ensure academic success. Veterans Tribute CTA will maximizes opportunities for students through effective partnerships with local, state and federal public service agencies that offer students experiences that may give them a step up over other applicants for public service jobs, while still academically preparing them to apply to college, and creating broader ranges of options for their future. Having instructors in law enforcement, emergency medical response, forensic science, 911 dispatch communications, criminal justice and cyber forensics, students will obtain firsthand knowledge and training that cannot come from a book or video. We want our students fully prepared to make excellent choices for attending college and selecting future careers.

While just a small token of our appreciation, our name, Veterans Tribute Career & Technical Academy will serve as a living testimonial for those who have served and continue to serve on behalf of our great country.
